Here's one with my boy at the parade! Brother and sister...can you tell!

Photos from the 4Th! C in front of her dream car. Aunt N rented it. C got to drive around in it for a day! R went early and got great seats in the shade for the parade!!

J, waiting with his dog.

Second attempt at Peach Cobbler by Paula Dean. Who's recipe is different depending on where you get it from. It turned out really yummy!

We are watching our pastor's boye for the week. C already has an owie on his head.

Hope you had a great 4Th!

RAIN!!! and Some Photos

Here's some photos from J birthday dinner. The steak was outstanding! C didn't eat all of her food. "It's all too good!" Now you don't hear that too often! The pie!
This was yesterday. J is our little entrepreneur. He has been having a pecan stand for a couple of days now. It sprinkled a bit, even rained a bit, but he still sat there waiting for customers. After public school lets out, the neighborhood kids come and join in. He even told one girl, if she sells any while he was eating dinner she could have the $. The kids come to the house asking if J is going to have his stand out. They all love it! It really something. He's made $11. Someone let them keep the change.

C took this photo yesterday. It rained during the night or morning today!! Everything is dark and wet. I love it. We really need it. But I guess no water balloons for J b-day party today!

Random Photos

We planted a small garden yesterday where our pool used to be. We have tomatoes, sweet onions, watermelon, pumpkin, lettuce, and petunias. The kids had a water balloon fight yesterday. J had tons of fun. C got the most wet.

Here's the shot of J when I came out with the camera! "Oh No!"

This is one of the flowers I got for Mom's Day. They were almost completely closed and have opened up everyday. Their smell is so strong that I had to put them outside! When you walk out the back door you can smell them! Amazing! They really did surprise me!
